Jalandhar, March 28, 2026: Lyalpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, the leading educational institution of North India, has been making proud achievements in sports, educational, and cultural fields.

Under this series, Neha Sahota, a student of MA Music Vocal in the college's postgraduate department of music, brought glory to the college by securing first place in the folk song competition organized by the Rotary Club Jalandhar, which saw participation from 11 educational institutions.

College Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu congratulated Neha Sahota and the postgraduate department of music for this remarkable achievement. He emphasized that students excelling in cultural activities should continue their hard work and assured that the college will provide all possible support to nurture such talent.

On this occasion, Head of the Music Department Prof. Sukhdev Singh, along with Prof. Kiran Amar and Bhagwat Kumar, were also present to celebrate the success.
