Jalandhar, May 7, 2022: Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar is committed to overall development of students and all the best platforms are provided to its students to showcase their talents at state and national level competitions. Recently, in the National level Inter Institute Youth Festival-2022 at SGGS World University, College students participated in 06 events. In a record performance, Lyallpur Khalsa College was the only college from Doaba region to have won 05 positions where colleges and universities of Punjab and Chandigarh participated. Student Sahil won first position in Collage Making amongst 58 participants, Sakshi Sharma won 2nd position in Declamation amongst 41 participants, Poonam, Bandana, Prakriti won 2nd position in Quiz amongst 23 teams, Sakshi Sharma won 2nd in Extempore amongst 32 participants and Yash won 3rd in Clay Modelling amongst 13 participants.
Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra congratulated students and team incharges Prof. Sandeep Ahuja, Prof. Ajitpal Singh, Prof. Satpal Singh. Dr. Samra added that the college will keep on providing such opportunities to its students to cash in.
Later students thanked the Principal and team incharges. Prof. Palwinder Singh Dean Cultural Affairs was also present in this occasion.
