Lyallpur Khalsa College Students & Faculty participated in Global Summit, Karnataka and State Level Meeting, Chandigarh

Recently, 5 NSS volunteers were invited to attend a Global Summit 25 and International Conference at Mangalore, Karnataka by Govt. of Karnataka under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India.

Jalandhar, July 9, 2025: Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar is committed for the overall growth and personality development of its students as well as staff. Recently, 5 NSS volunteers were invited to attend a Global Summit 25 and International Conference at Mangalore, Karnataka by Govt. of Karnataka under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India.
Principal Dr. Suman Chopra congratulated the participants and informed that from the whole Punjab only 05 students attended this international event and all were from Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. She appreciated the efforts of NSS volunteers and said that their dedication towards social causes have been recognized by getting an invitation to attend this international event where delegates from 12 countries collaborated to discuss issues related to youth and environment. She added that NSS Program Officer Prof. Satpal Singh was invited by Dept. of Youth Services, Government of Punjab to attend an NSS Review Meeting at Chandigarh as representative of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The meeting was headed by the Secretary, Dept. of Youth Affairs, Government of India.
During the volunteer felicitation event, Prof. Satpal Singh informed that volunteers Jaskaran Singh, Balpreet Kaur, Shubhkarman Singh, Onkar Singh & Gurwinder Kaur actively represented Punjab during this Global Summit and participated in youth dialogue and cultural exchange. He added that these events of international repute present a wonderful platform to explore self and exchange knowledge and culture.
NSS volunteers thanked the Ministry of Youth Affairs, State NSS Cell, Punjab, President, College Governing Council, Principal and NSS unit LKC for providing such opportunities.
