Keeping this spirit intact, the Post Graduate Department of Commerce and Business Administration organized inter-college and intra-college competition Synergy to provide a platform for students to showcase their talents in various events such as choreography, ad-mad show and general dance.

Jalandhar: Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for its achievements in academics, sports and extracurricular activities, and the college administration leaves no stone unturned for the overall growth of its students and teachers. Keeping this spirit intact, the Post Graduate Department of Commerce and Business Administration organized inter-college and intra-college competition Synergy to provide a platform for students to showcase their talents in various events such as choreography, ad-mad show and general dance.
The chief guest of the inauguration session was international hockey player Jagdeep Singh Gill, who was duly received by the Principal along with Heads of different departments. Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu extended a floral welcome to Mr. Gill. In his address, Dr. Sandhu informed that the program Synergy has been revived to provide a platform to students across the region. He appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee and added that such competitions build confidence and bring out the best in participants.
Competitive events including general dance and choreography were then conducted. During the intervals, guest performances of solo dance and singing were presented by students and teachers of the college. Later, Gill, along with Principal Dr. Sandhu and senior staff members, honoured 11 NSS volunteers who led the Punjab Tableau at the Republic Day Parade 2026.
In the evening session, Guest of Honour Rajpal Singh Sandhu was welcomed by the Principal and senior staff with a bouquet and a memento. In his address, he reminisced about his time at the college and motivated participants, stating that such events provide the perfect platform to showcase hidden talent and carry forward Punjab’s cultural legacy.
In the inter-college group dance event, Hindu Kanya College, Doaba College and LKC Technical Campus secured first, second and third positions respectively. In the inter-department group dance event, the Department of Computer secured first position, Departments of Physiotherapy and Music secured second position, while Departments of Economics and Commerce shared third position.
In the inter-college choreography event, KMV College won first position, while Lyallpur Khalsa College for Women and Lyallpur Khalsa College were declared joint runners-up. In the inter-college ad-mad show, Hindu Kanya College Kapurthala and Trinity College secured first and second positions respectively, while in the inter-department ad-mad show the Departments of Commerce and Computer Science secured first and second positions.
In Jhoomer, Khalsa College won first position, while in Gidha and Luddi the Lyallpur Khalsa College teams secured first positions. At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu delivered the vote of thanks and acknowledged the sincere efforts of the teaching and non-teaching staff. The events were judged by Dr. Palwinder Singh, Dr. Ravneet Kaur and Dr. Harjinder Kaur, while the stage was managed by Dr. Sukhdev Singh Nagra.
