Lyallpur Khalsa College organized sports trials for selection of female players

Jalandhar; Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar is constantly on the move for the holistic development of students. Here, the students excel in academic field as well as sports. Sports trial were held at the college to select the female players for the new session 2021-22. Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra specially attended the inaugural function of these sports trials. On this occasion, he welcomed the female sports students to join the college, wished them well and conveyed the message of giving trials with full sports spirit and dedication. He said that today girls are doing well in every field. Most of the medals won at the Tokyo Olympics are by girls. This has ushered in a new era in the field of sports. He said that the enthusiasm in women sports has given a new impetus to the girls. He said that we have set up a new sports wing for girls in the college. Under which special facilities have been provided for national level student sportspersons. He said that trials of Athletics, Badminton, Archery, Weightlifting, Pancake Silat, Karate, Boxing, Fencing, Shooting and Taekwondo have been conducted today. Dr. S.S. Bains Dean Sports, Prof. Ajay Kumar, Prof. Satinder Singh and other staff members were also present on this occasion.
