Lyallpur Khalsa College NCC Cadets Selected for Republic Day Parade at Jalandhar

Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, has achieved yet another moment of pride as eleven NCC cadets of the college have been selected to participate in the upcoming Republic Day Parade, scheduled to be held at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium, Jalandhar. The parade will be graced by Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal as the Chief Guest.

Jalandhar, January 25, 2026: Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, has achieved yet another moment of pride as eleven NCC cadets of the college have been selected to participate in the upcoming Republic Day Parade, scheduled to be held at Guru Gobind Singh Stadium, Jalandhar. The parade will be graced by Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal as the Chief Guest.

The selected cadets are Chetan Passi, Krishna, Nitin Kumar Singh, Abhishek, Lovepreet, Deepak Kumar, Lokender Kanwar, Ravi Kumar, Harsh Soni, Dheeraj Kumar, and Md. Khadeer Basha. Chetan Passi will lead the NCC contingent.

All the cadets belong to the NCC unit of Lyallpur Khalsa College and have undergone rigorous training under the able guidance of Naib Subedar Punjab Singh of 2 PB NCC Battalion. His dedicated efforts and discipline-oriented training played a key role in their selection.

Expressing his happiness, Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu, Principal, Lyallpur Khalsa College, congratulated the cadets on their achievement. In his message, he stated that participation in the Republic Day Parade is a matter of great honour and reflects the values of discipline, patriotism, and leadership inculcated by NCC. He encouraged the cadets to perform with confidence and uphold the prestige of the college and the nation.

Dr. Karanbir Singh, NCC Officer, also congratulated the cadets and appreciated their hard work, sincerity, and commitment. He acknowledged the contribution of the training staff and motivated the cadets to set an example for other students by showcasing exemplary drill, coordination, and dedication during the parade.
