Lyallpur Khalsa College Enrols New NCC Cadets for Session 2025–26
Lyallpur Khalsa College successfully completed the enrolment process for new NCC cadets for the academic session 2025–26 under its Army Wing Unit, operating under the aegis of the 2 PB NCC Battalion. The drive was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Karanbir Singh, Associate NCC Officer of the college, along with Subedar Suresh Kumar and Havildar Sumit Rana from the Battalion.

Jalandhar, August 11, 2025: Lyallpur Khalsa College successfully completed the enrolment process for new NCC cadets for the academic session 2025–26 under its Army Wing Unit, operating under the aegis of the 2 PB NCC Battalion. The drive was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Karanbir Singh, Associate NCC Officer of the college, along with Subedar Suresh Kumar and Havildar Sumit Rana from the Battalion.
The process saw an enthusiastic response from students eager to join the National Cadet Corps, reflecting their commitment to discipline, leadership, and national service.
Congratulating the newly enrolled cadets, Principal Dr. Suman Chopra said, “Becoming an NCC cadet is not just about wearing the uniform; it is about imbibing the values of discipline, unity, and patriotism. I urge all new entrants to use this platform to shape their personality, develop leadership skills, and contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.”
Commanding Officer Col. Vinod Joshi of the 2 PB NCC Battalion extended his best wishes to the fresh batch, remarking, “NCC is a nursery of responsible citizens and future leaders. My message to the new cadets is simple — work hard, train sincerely, and live by the NCC motto ‘Unity and Discipline’.”
After a rigorous selection process, the newly inducted cadets will now undergo structured training in drill, weapon handling, map reading, field craft, adventure activities, and community service over the coming year.
With enrolment complete, the Army Wing of Lyallpur Khalsa College is set to commence its annual training calendar, carrying forward the NCC’s proud tradition of producing disciplined, skilled, and socially responsible youth.
