Ludhiana, October 1, 2013: The Art of Living Foundation’s founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is visiting Punjab and Chandigarh from October 18-22 and the Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal has declared him as the State Guest during his visit.
Addressing a joint press conference here on Tuesday, the Art of Living (Ludhiana Chapter) members Sudhir Mahajan, Rajan Mittal, Jagjit Singh, and media coordinators Rishi Bhasin and Harveen Sukhija added Sri Sri Ravi Shankar would visit Chandigarh on October 18.
On October 19, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will visit Sri Anandpur Sahib and address the youth under “Volunteer for Better Punjab” programme. On the same day, he will visit Hoshiarpur to attend a Sant Sammelan hosted by Sant Anup Singh.
Likewise, on October 20, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will visit Jalandhar for imparting knowledge under a programme named Gyan Ganga. On the same day a Mahasatsang is being organised in the evening at Pathankot.
On October 21, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will visit Mandi Gobindgarh as chief guest on the convocation of Desh Bhagat University where he shall be presented with Honorary Doctorate.
In the evening, on October 21, Mahasatsang is going to be organised at PAU, Ludhiana under the banner “Anand Ki Lehar”. A number of luminaries, political bigwigs, high profile personalities are going to attend and enjoy the bliss of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
On October 22, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will be visiting Patiala to address a farmers rally and in the evening a Mahasatsang is being organised at Chandigarh.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will leave on October 23 after spreading a message of peace and harmony all across the state.
