Ludhiana, June 14, 2025: Giving enthralling performances during the Fathers' Day celebrations dedicated to Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP), students of Ishmeet Singh Music Institute spread awareness among masses to exercise their vote to right without any fear during the Ludhiana West By-election on June 19, 2025.

Expenditure Observer for Ludhiana West by-elections Indana Ashok Kumar IRS was honoured as the Chief Guest, while Deputy Commissioner (DC)-cum-District Election Officer (DEO) Himanshu Jain was honoured as Guest of Honour during the event. DC Hoshiarpur Aashika Jain, Special Guest Dr Nirupama Venigalla,, ADC Amarjit Bains were honourer as esteemed guests during the event. 

Director of Ishmeet Singh Music Institute Dr Charan Kamal Singh, Singer Ishmeet Singh's father Gurpinder Singh among others also participated in the event. 

Students of different age groups gave various singing and dance performances with many aiming to spread awareness among the voters. 

A song by Gurleen Kaur - 'Vote Da Adhikar' was also launched during the event to spread awareness among eligible voters of Ludhiana West and urged them to exercise their right to vote on June 19.

DC-cum-DEO Himanshu Jain appreciated the students, teachers and management of the institute for the energetic performances.

He further stated that SVEEP activities are being held in various educational institutes/public places on a regular basis to urge the eligible voters to step forward and exercise their Right to Vote.

Expenditure Observer Indana Ashok Kumar and DC Jain also emphasized upon the need for participation of all eligible voters in the elections to uphold the democratic values and urged the youth to exercise their right to vote.
