Ludhiana, June 22, 2025: The counting of votes will start at 8 am on Monday in Khalsa College For Women and will have 14 rounds to complete the exercise.
On Sunday, General Observer Rajeev Kumar, IAS, and District Election Officer (DEO) Himanshu Jain inspected the arrangements to ensure a smooth operation. The officials reviewed the examination hall, equipped with 14 tables for vote counting, and two additional tables designated for postal ballots and Electronically Transmitted Postal Ballot System (ETPBS) votes. They also assessed the media center located in the college auditorium.
The district administration has implemented extensive measures, including robust security with adequate police deployment at the counting center. Special attention has been given to optimizing parking arrangements for the convenience of all involved stakeholders.
The Observer and DEO affirmed that the counting process will be conducted in a secure, peaceful, and congenial atmosphere, reflecting the administration’s commitment to upholding electoral integrity.
