Ludhiana to cover all teaching and non-teaching staff under vaccination drive soon: Dr Nayan

Jagraon (Ludhiana), August 18, 2021: With a view to inoculate all government teachers in the district, Ludhiana Administration has held dedicated vaccination camps for teachers. Inaugurating first camp, ADC cum Nodal Officer vaccination Dr. Nayan said that all 3512 teachers and 1065 non teaching staff in primary schools would be inoculated by soon as per the directions issued by the state government. 

The nodal officer further appealed to all government teachers to participate in the camp in  huge numbers so that the goal to vaccination all teaching and non teaching staff in government schools could be achieved. She stated that no one would be allowed to attend class without completion of their vaccination.

Dr. Nayan mentioned that to ensure safety of children in schools, the state government has mandated complete vaccination of staff weather teaching or non teaching. 

She also said that more such camps would be organized in coming days so as to facilitate school staff nearby their workplace. DEO primary Jaswinder Kaur, Deputy DEO Kuldeep, and others were present on the occasion.
