Union Minister Manish Tewari distributes Rs 60 lakh cheques for development in Dakha villages of Ludhiana district on Tuesday.
Ludhiana, December 3, 2013: Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari today distributed cheques to the tune of Rs sixty lakhs and laid foundation stones in different villages falling under Dakha assembly segment from his MP’s local area development (MPLAD) fund. The money is being used for various developmental works in these villages.
Accompanied by former MLA and Congress Dakha halqa incharge Jassi Khangura, DCC president Pawan Dewan and other party leaders, Tewari said, his purpose was to properly distribute the money from his MPLAD fund across the constituency.
