Ludhiana, December 20, 2013: On the fourth day of the 3rd All India Sahibzada Ajit Singh Hockey Champion Trophy, four matches were played (two of men and two of women section) on Friday.
The event is being played at the Astroturf of Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. It is being organised by the Sports Council of Ludhiana.
Sukhpal Singh Brar, former Caption of Indian Volleyball Team was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Results:
Match-1
Air India V/s Bangladesh XI, the match won by Air India by 10-0
Shivander Singh scored three goals (field goals) in 13th, 14th and 47th minute, Joga Singh also scored three goals (field goals) in 32nd, 42nd and 61st minute, while Vinod Pillay, Birander Lakra, Arjun Hallap and Aggan Usag scored one goal each in the 25th, 35th, 46th, and 57th minute during the match.
Match-II
ONGC V/s Namdhari XI, the match won by ONGC by 3-0
Mandeep Singh scored first goal for ONGS in the 30th minute (field goal), Divakar scored second goal in the 55th minute (penalty corner) and Harshib Singh scored third goal in 58th minute (field goal) during the match.
Match-III (Women)
RCF V/s M.P. Academy Gawalior, the match ended draw 2-2
Pryanka scored for M.P. Academy Gawalior first goal in the 53rd minute and Tarini Kumar in 59th minute (both field goal) while for RCF Navjot Kaur and Deepika Thakur scored in the 56th and 67th minute, respectively.
Match-IV (Women)
Chandigarh XI V/s Sonipat XI, the match won by Sonipat XI 2-1
