Ludhiana News/Police arrest two persons for running illegal LPG-gas filling station for autos

Ludhiana, December 21, 2013: The anti-narcotic and anti-illicit liquor smuggling wing has arrested two persons for allegedly running illegal `LPG-gas filling station’ for autos.
A total 31 gas cylinders have been recovered from house of the accused- the father and the son. Police have also recovered the motor used to fill the gas.
The accused have been identified as Lakshman Parshad and his son Tarkeshwar Yadav, residents of Gurnam Nagar of Jassian Road.
Police said both the accused run a grocery shop in the area.
The Salem Tabri police have registered a case under Section 7 of Essential Commodities Act against the accused.
Police said the accused used to fill LPG gas illegally in the cylinders using electric pump from domestic LPG cylinders.
