Ludhiana News/Free artificial limb distribution camp

Ludhiana, December 22, 2013: Free Artificial Limb Distribution Camp under Corporate Social Responsibility was organised by National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. Ludhiana at Viklang Sahayata Kender, Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana and  76 physically challenged persons were provided artificial limbs, tricycle & wheel chairs, hearing aids machines.
The camp was organised in association with Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust.  Neelambary Jagadale, ADCP-I, presided over the function.
Dr. K.S Saini, Civil Surgeon and R.K. Meena Branch Head RINL were guests on this occasion. They appreciated the work being done by Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust.
Narinder Mittal, Secretary Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust informed that kender has provided artificial limbs & other aids & appliances to more than 39225 physically handicapped persons. He further informed that more than 1,825 polio affected persons have been successfully operated to stand on their feet and live with dignity.
Suraj Jyoti, President BVP Charitable Trust, Rajesh Jain, DGM Vishal Bhatnagar of  NSIC Ltd., Ravi Kumar, Dr. Kuldip, Prof. J.P. Gupta, Ajay Sharma, Dr. D.R.C. Bakhetia, Narinder Mittal  & R.P.
