Ludhiana News/Baba Banda Singh Bahadur International Foundation observes Human Rights Day

Ludhiana, December 13, 2013: Baba Banda Singh Bahadur International Foundation organised a seminar to observe Human Rights Day at Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Bhawan, Raqba.
Speaking on the occasion, the Foundation’s patron and former Punjab minister Malkit Singh Dakha and president Krishan kumar Bawa said condemned the menace of female feticide and said the accused be booked under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
They also sought strict punishment for those indulging into this heinous crime.
“This is the only way to get rid of this social menace”, they opined.
Among others, the Foundation leaders Buta Singh Hans, Niranjan singh Grewal Canada, Palwinder Singh Saggu (USA) and the Foundation’s West Bengal Chapter president Megh Singh Sidhu also spoke on the occasion.
The Foundation’s Punjab president Karnail Singh Gill, general secretary Hardiyal Singh Aman said everybody had the rights but at the same time everybody had responsibilities towards the
