Ludhiana news/Avon Cycles join hands with Godrej Eon Tour De India 2013 to Promote Cycling in India

Ludhiana, December 2, 2013: Avon Cycles Limited, Ludhiana has joined hands with the biggest cycling event of the country, Godrej Eon Tour De India to promote cycling in India. The second edition of the biggest cycling event in the country will be organised by ID Sports, Cycling Federation of India and UCI and marketed by Total Sports Asia.
“By partnering with the iconic cycling event, Avon cycles aims to create youth interest in cycling and popularise the sport on a pan-India level”, said Avon Cycles Chairman, Onkar Singh Pahwa on announcing the leading bicycle manufacturer’s association with the iconic event under the aegis of Union cyclist International and Cycle Federation of India.
Launched on 12th November, 2013 at the ITC Grand Maratha, Mumbai, the event will tour different places in India such as Mumbai, Delhi and Jaipur. The event will see its culmination at Buddh International circuit in Delhi. John Abraham as Brand Ambassador of the event for the coming three years is the main highlight of the event.
Speaking about the collaboration of Avon cycles with India’s pioneer cycling event, Ramakrishnan R. , Director at Total Sports said “We are extremely proud and fortunate to have Avon Cycles as a partner for this event and we look forward to a great beginning to this association with Tour de India”.
