Ludhiana News- POACON-2013 to be held at DMCH

Ludhiana, September 27, 2013: Department of Orthopaedics is organising the Punjab Orthopaedics Annual Conference (POACON-2013) under the aegis of Punjab Orthopaedic Association on September 29 from 8.30 am to 5 pm in Dumra Auditorium.

Organising Chairman-Dr Mohammad Yamin informed that eminent orthopaedic surgeons from all over India would be sharing their experiences and latest advancements in the different field of Orthopaedics.

Giving details, Organising Secretary-Dr Rajnish Garg, who is also Secretary of Punjab Orthopaedics Association, said POACON-2013 will be attended by more than 200 delegates from all over the region. It is an unparalleled opportunity for the participating delegates to interact with the experts in the field to share and enhance knowledge on latest international research & developments in the field of Orthopaedics and to network among the peers.

Dr Garg, further said, Interactive sessions will also be held to further address the queries and help on better understanding of the procedure and complications of specific surgeries. Budding orthopaedic surgeons will display their work as free paper and poster presentation. This conference has also been accredited for 4 hours by Punjab Medical Council.    

Dr SS Gill, Vice Chancellor, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, will be the Guest of Honour on the occasion.
