Ludhiana News- Mahindra FES showcases its range of technologically superior Tractors & Farm Mechanisation Solutions at PAU Kisan Mela

Ludhiana, September 14, 2013: Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector, the market leader in the Indian tractor industry for the past 30 years displayed its range of Tractors, Farm Mechanisation Solutions and Specialised Agri services at the PAU Kisan Mela.

On display were tractors ranging from 15HP to 85HP which included the Arjun international 8085 Cabin tractor, Arjun 605 DI Ultra - 1 DLX MAT, Mahindra 595 Super Turbo, Mahindra 255, Mahindra 265 Power plus and Yuvraj 215, India’s first 15 HP tractor with single cylinder fuel efficient engine and side shift gear. FES also showcased the Swaraj brand of tractors. These included the Swaraj 855 FE, Swaraj 744 FE Potato Expert, Swaraj 834 XM, Swaraj 825 XM and 724 Orchard.

The Mahindra Agri stall showcased Crop Care and Seed Potato products.   A Samriddhi Center kiosk was also set up at the Exhibition, where farmers had the opportunity to experience the varied innovative farming technologies offered at the Mahindra Samriddhi centers, which are transformed Mahindra Dealerships.

Mahindra Samriddhi aims to increase agricultural productivity through innovative farming technology, thereby enhancing rural prosperity. The focus is on going beyond tractors to deliver agri-services to the farming community which will ultimately lead to a better quality of life.  As a part of this initiative, 160 Mahindra dealerships have been transformed into Samriddhi Centers’, offering the farmer easy access to technological 'know-how, hybrid seeds, soil and water testing facilities, demo farms, finance and insurance, internet updates and sales and servicing of tractors and tractor implements. Samriddhi centers’ are spread across India.

The entire range of Mahindra AppliTrac farm mechanization solutions displayed at the exhibition included the Mulcher, Shredder and Gyrovator - Rotary Tillage Equipment.  Also showcased was the Swaraj Wheel Type Combine Harvester 8100.
