Ludhiana News- DCC (U) leaders ask youths to get inspiration from martyr Bhagat Singh

Ludhiana, September 28, 2013: District Congress Committee (Urban), Ludhiana today celebrated the 107th birth anniversary of the national martyr Bhagat Singh as `Inspiration Day’ at Congress Bhawan here.
The DCC (U) president Pawan Dewan presided over the function.

Speaking on the occasion, he asked the youths to get inspiration from the martyr for changing their lives and raising voice against social evils such as menace of drugs. He added it was necessary to get inspiration from the martyr to build nation of which the martyrs had dreamed of. He and other party leaders and workers laid wreaths before the photograph of the martyr.
Congress MLA from North, Raakesh Pandey and the party’s east area in-charge Gurmel Singh Pahalwan said it was the dream of the martyrs that every youth should get better education and employment in independence country. They added today, the key of success of the nation was in the hands of youths- who were 66 per cent of the total population across the country. but, it was regretted to note that the youths were indulging into dug menace in the present era, they said, adding the number of such youths was a matter of concern and alarm for everybody.
Among others, Sanjay Sharma, former MC Narinder Chowdhary, Jarnail Singh Shimlapuri, Harjinder Singh lalli, Varinder Sehgal, Gurmukh Singh Mithu, Vikram Pahalwan and Avtar Singh Billa were present.
