Ludhiana News/ Annual Alumni Meet of DMCH held

Ludhiana, December 23, 2013: Annual Alumni Meet of Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMCH), Ludhiana was held on Sunday evening.

The event was an informal one, more like a family get together. All alumni  enjoyed the function as it had the tinge of both nostalgia and humor. Over 300 alumni were present to reconnect with their alma mater.

The meet was addressed by Dr Ashwani Chaudhary, Chairman, DMC Alumni Committee, Dr Sandeep Sharma, Convenor and Dr Rajinder Mittal, Secretary. The alumni, during the meet, talked about their experience in those days and the changes they are seeing right now.
Secretary of DMCH Managing Society Prem Kumar Gupta graced the function with his presence. In his message, Prem Kumar Gupta described the annual meet as a great and encouraging event and lauded the efforts of DMC Alumni Committee in organizing this meet. He thanked the participating alumni for making this event a memorable one.
On the completion of their silver jubilee, the students of the MBBS (admission) batch of 1988 were felicitated. A day prior to meet, the alumni of silver jubilee batch had a round of the entire campus. The real change which the alumni noticed is that in these 25 years, the institute has advanced enormously in every which aspect; infrastructure, the new campus, number of faculty and number of academic course offerings.
The Memory Book was also distributed among the silver-jubilee batch, which had description about their professional and family details.  
The event was enjoyed by the alumni as it had the tinge of nostalgia and humor.
