Ludhiana News- Aishwariya Rai Bachchan inaugurates Kalyan Jewellers in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, September 22, 2013: Bollywood actress Aishwariya Rai Bachchan inaugurated Kalyan Jewellers here on Sunday.
Thousands of people, especially youths, had gathered outside the showroom to have a glimpse of the Bollywood star. Some of crazy youths were even seen shouting.
Tight security arrangements were made to maintain law and order.
People had started gathering around the showroom as the showroom owners had already done widespread propaganda about opening of the showroom at 3 pm.
Beautifully dressed up Aishwariya Rai duly inaugurated the showroom and spoke about Kalyan Jewellers. She did not bother to answer a controversial question put up by the media persons. In reply, she only gave a smile.
The Ludhiana’s showroom is 52nd across the country. Kalyan Jewellers had recently opened showroom in Mohali.
City’s showroom is spead over 12,000 sq ft. Aishwariya  Rai Bachan is is Kalyan Jewellers national brand ambassador. Speaking on the on the occasion, the group’s TS Kalyanaraman said,” The launch of our store in Ludhiana, underlines the importance of this dynamic market. We are hopeful that Kalyan Jewellers’s tryst with Punjab will make more jewellery aficionados appreciate the brand and its unparalleled collection of jewellery. The launch is aimed at expanding the shopping horizon of the people in the city, while providing a greater level of choice, convenience and satisfaction.”
He added they were planning to open 12 more showrooms across the globe in this financial year. He said Kalyan aims to have 100 stores spread across India by 2015.
