Ludhiana, February 18, 2023: Ludhiana Management Association organised an event on ‘Aggregate Shocks: Why they matter for firms’  at Hotel Park Plaza Ludhiana. The lecture was delivered by Prof. Shekhar Tomar, Assistant Professor of Economics and Public Policy at the Indian School of Business, Mohali. Shobhan Soi, General Secretary, LMA in his welcome address thanked him for addressing the members of Ludhiana Management Association. 

While interacting with the members of Ludhiana Management Association (LMA), Shekhar Tomar, Professor of Economics and Policy at the ISB, elaborated on how the Macroeconomic changes impacts the business at the firm level, by taking examples of crude oil prices and budget receipts. “Firms must prepare themselves by doing worst case and best case scenarios for the industry from the macroeconomic shocks”.


It was a fruitful session for one and all that concluded with Presidential remarks by Neeraj Jain, President of Ludhiana Management Association & heartfelt vote of thanks by Raghav Choudhary, Joint Secretary- LMA.
