Ludhiana, August 6, 2018: Today, delegation of industry under the Chairmanship of S.Onkar Singh Pahwa Chairman Avon Cycles & Patron-in-Chief FICO along with Shri Shwait Malik Member Parliament Rajya Sabha, S.Gurmeet Singh Kular President FICO and Shri Ravinder Arora District President BJP Ludhiana met Shri Nitin Gadkari Minister of Road Transport and Highways Government of India at Parliament House New Delhi, and requested for Revival of Construction Work of NH-44 in Ludhiana.

The delegation explained how the Construction work of Panipat-Jalandhar Link of National Highway-1 , has been stuck for years in Ludhiana, especially near Sherpur Chowk, the work has been stuck since three years. Due to construction work, the Slip roads are the prime road for the movement in Ludhiana. Ludhiana is a Manchester of India & Major Industrial Town of Punjab and connecting it though a slip road to the city will be the biggest blunder for the industrial city.
