Ludhiana First Club honour newly elected office-bearers of Sutlej Club

Ludhiana: Ludhiana First Club today honoured the newly elected office-bearers of Sutlej Club Ludhiana. The office-bearers were honoured with bouquets by Krishan Kumar Bawa, Mohinder Singh Iroz and Col HS Kahlon.

Those honoured included Jatinder Marwaha (vice president), Sanjiv Dhanda (general secretary), Gurmeet Singh (joint secretary), Rattandeep Singh Lati Bawa (cultural secretary), Anil Goyal (sports secretary),Ginni Bawa Moudgill, Dr Arun Dhawan,Sabot Batish (executive member) and general secretary GS Kairon.

Speaking on the occasion, both Bawa and Dhanda said that the Club is working for further strengthening of brotherhood. They added that the club activities provide peace to its members and also enable them to get relaxed. They lauded Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Varinder Sharma and Police Commissioner Rakesh Aggarwal for conducting the club elections in a peaceful and smooth manner.

A two minute silence was observed to pay tribute to Bhushan Thukral, a friend of friends.

Sweets were offered by Mohiner Singh Iroz andAshwani Arora.

SK Gupta, Col HS Kahlon and Maj I S Sandhu also honoured the club office-bearers by handing over doshalas to them.
Joga Singh Mann, RS Khokhar, Mukesh Sood, Maj HS Bhinder, DS Malhotra, retired chief engineer Manpreet Singh Chahal, Vinod Talwar, SS Bedi, Pawan Garg (president, Aggar Nagar, Cooperative Society) garlanded the club office-bearers and shared their joyful emotions.

On the occasion, Maninder Bedi, Ashwani Arora and SK Gupta were given special thanks for all the adequate arrangements.
