Ludhiana, January 27, 2026: A meeting of the Governing Body of the DREA(District Rural Education Academy) Society was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Amarjit Bains, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development), Ludhiana.
The meeting was attended by Payal Goyal, SDM Raikot ; Aman Gupta, EO GLADA along with other concerned officers. During the meeting, key issues related to the functioning of the DREA Society were discussed.
The agenda included deliberations on the opening of a new computer centre under the DREA Society at the Community Centre, Sector 32, Chandigarh Road, and the re-opening of the computer centre at the SDM Office, Raikot. The concerned departments were directed to take necessary steps for timely implementation as per discussions held in the meeting.
The meeting concluded with directions to ensure coordinated efforts for effective execution of the decisions taken.
