Ludhiana district's first drone show on teachings of Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji to be held in Khanna on September 16: Cabinet Ministers Sond and Mundian

Ludhiana, September 14, 2026: Cabinet Ministers Tarunpreet Singh Sond and Hardeep Singh Mundian chaired a high-level meeting with administrative officials at the Deputy Commissioner's office in Ludhiana on Monday to review preparations for the drone shows being organized by the Punjab Government dedicated to the 650th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji across Ludhiana, Fatehgarh Sahib, and Moga districts.
MLAs Madan Lal Bagga, Jiwan Singh Sangowal, Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina and Sarvjit Kaur Manuke, former MLA Gurpreet Singh GP, Advisor to the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs Punjab Deepak Bali, Director of Tourism and Cultural Affairs Sanjeev Tiwari, and Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Himanshu Jain were present on the occasion. 
The Deputy Commissioners of Fatehgarh Sahib and Moga joined the meeting via video conferencing (VC).
Jointly sharing details, Cabinet Ministers Tarunpreet Singh Sond and Hardeep Singh Mundian stated that the Punjab Government will organize 7 drone shows in Ludhiana district dedicated to the 650th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji. These shows will be held on September 16 at the AS Modern Senior Secondary School Ground in Khanna, September 17 at Anaj Mandi Payal, September 18 at Smart School Ground (Boys) Sahnewal, September 19 at Athletic/Football Ground PAU Ludhiana, September 20 at Dakha School Ground Dakha, September 21 at Grain Mandi Raikot, and September 22 at New Grain Mandi Jagraon.
Two drone shows will be held in Fatehgarh Sahib district at Anaj Mandi Sirhind on September 14, and at Anaj Mandi Amloh on September 15.
Similarly, four drone shows will take place in Moga district at Anaj Mandi Nihal Singh Wala on September 15, Sant Baba Gurmail Singh Ground Bagha Purana on September 16, Anaj Mandi Moga on September 17, and Anaj Mandi Dharamkot on September 18.
They informed that these drone shows across Ludhiana, Moga, and Fatehgarh Sahib will begin at 6:00 PM, starting with kirtan followed by a spectacular aerial display featuring over 500 modern drones.
Presiding over the meeting, both ministers directed the nodal officers of the drone shows and officials from concerned departments to complete all arrangements well in time regarding seating for the sangat, lighting, langar, clean drinking water, sanitation, fire brigades, medical teams, ambulances, and other necessities.
They stated that the police administration will make strict security arrangements to maintain law and order and ensure smooth traffic flow, deploying adequate police personnel at all event venues.
The Cabinet Ministers appealed to the residents of Ludhiana, Fatehgarh Sahib, and Moga districts to participate in large numbers in these divine events blending faith and technology. They further added that the drone shows will present the life, philosophy, and teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji through magnificent aerial visuals.
