Ludhiana Current News- Free Artificial Limbs Distribution Camp

Ludhiana, August 19, 2013: Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust Organised a Free Artificial Limbs Distribution Camp at Viklang Sahayta Kender Rishi Nagar Ludhiana.

Eighteen artificial limbs, calipers and hearing aid were given to physically handicapped persons free of cost. The camp was sponsored by Inner Wheel Club Ludhiana 307.

Sushma Gupta, president and members of the club appreciated the work done by Bharat Vikas Parishad and assured to organise such camps in future also.

Neelam Gupta State Finance Secretary Bharat Vikas Parishad apprised the members of Inner Wheel Club that our trust has provided artificial limbs calipers, tricycles, wheel chair and hearing aid to more than 38,500 physically challenged persons.

She further told that besides this they provided training in chalk, candles, duster making, tailoring, chair canning and computer application to the handicapped persons to help them for self employment and rehabilitation.

Narinder Mittal, Secretary BVP told that they are running State of the Art Polio Corrective Surgery Hospital and they have performed 2,000 polio corrective surgeries successfully.

Members of Inner Wheel Club Abhilash Oswal, Nirmal Oswal, Veena Jain, Neeru Sital, Sunil Chadha and members of Bharat Vikas Parishad Amar Lal Chugh and R.P Gupta were present on this cccasion.
