Ludhiana, October 31, 2025: The entire nation is celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, as National Unity Day. To commemorate this occasion, the Ludhiana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised a Run for Unity near the Haibowal police post under the leadership of District BJP President Rajnish Dhiman. The event witnessed special participation from BJP State Vice President Sardar Vikramjit Singh Cheema and State General Secretary Anil Sarin.
October 31 marks the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a leader remembered for uniting the nation. On this occasion, BJP District President Rajnish Dhiman said that Sardar Patel played a historic role in integrating the country. “October 31 is a day of pride for every Indian,” he said. “It marks the birth anniversary of the Iron Man who bound India together in a thread of unity. Only a man of iron resolve like Sardar Patel could have prevented the nation from breaking apart and succeeded in unifying it. This Run for Unity is organised to convey the same message of national integration.”
