Ludhiana, January 17, 2017: The National Award for Excellence in Printing, The annual competition’s 11th edition was hosted by the Delhi Printers Association, on behalf of All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP), supported by the Ministry of MSME , Govt. of India.

The coveted awards honouring quality printing in India were presented on 15.01.2017, at Hotel Pride Plaza, New Delhi.

Ramit Saxena & Vandna Saxena from Kamal Printers, Ludhiana received 2 Gold Awards.
They received Two National Gold Awards for Excellence in Printing - 2016 from Mr. Kamal Chopra, President : All India Federation of Master Printers, one of the most prominent Print Personalities of India.
The Chief Guest of the occasion was MR. H.V. Seth President: IPAMA

Its the fourth year in a row that Kamal Printers, Ludhiana have received the prestigious award.

Award Tally:
2016: 2 Gold
2015: 2 Silvers;
2014: 1 Silver;
2013: 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Certificate of Merit;
2012 : Nomination.

Ramit Saxena owner at Kamal Printers said "Our team at Kamal Printers, always strives to achieve perfection in every print job thatwe undertake. With the able support and guidance of my father, Mr. R.A. Kamal, we have been able to win these awards again this year. We are also thankful to the OPA Ludhiana, for providing us an opportunity to participate in this highly prestigious competition."

They have received the award for Wedding Invitations and Envelopes in Screen Printing Category. The Wedding card entered in the competition was printed in 13 impressions of screen printing with utmost expertise by Kamal Printers.

Only two printers from Ludhiana, got the National Award this year .

"The winners of the awards do deserve the accolades for their efforts in striving to fulfil the commitment to quality and in achieving the distinction of excellence in their respective fields. Black Book includes the particulars of these accomplished people and institutions that have set standards of achievement in their respective fields. I extend heartiest congratulations to all the winners." commented Mr. Kamal Chopra, President, All India Federation of Master Printers.

“I feel extremely happy for the winning printers. It shows that quality of printing done by Ludhiana Printers is at par with national standards,” said Mr. Parveen Aggarwal, President Offset Printers Association, Ludhiana.

As per Mr. Vinod Rajpal, Chairman NAEP 2016, "This year at NAEP2016, A huge no. of entries were received from Printing fraternity across India. Eminent juries from all over the country were invited, and they were equipped with state of the art latest software and bar coding system to evaluate the entries. A classic "Black Book" has also been released on the occasion."

The NAEP was instituted by the All India Federation of Master Printers, New Delhi (AIFMP) in 1999 to celebrate the quest for quality that is at the heart of the printing industry. According to a press release by the Delhi-headquartered Federation, the aim of these awards is to showcase Indian printers’ achievements and contributions and to create awareness about their capabilities.
