LPU’s Class of 2026 Signed off with Memories, Music, and a Star Studded Evening

Jalandhar; May 6, 2026: The Class of 2026 at Lovely Professional University (LPU) marked the culmination of their academic journey with a vibrant Commencement Ceremony that brought together nostalgia, celebration, and a sense of achievement. The day reflected the shared experiences, friendships, and growth that defined their years on campus.

The farewell began with a series of school level activities, where students revisited their journey through moments of interaction and reflection. Shirts turned into keepsakes, filled with handwritten messages, memories, and notes that captured the essence of friendships built over the years. Across the campus, students gathered for group photographs, revisited classrooms and hostel spaces, and relived moments that made their time at LPU memorable.

The occasion also reflected the outcomes of a strong academic phase, with the graduating batch securing placements across leading organisations in India and abroad, as they prepare to step into diverse professional pathways.

As the evening progressed, the atmosphere on campus elevated with the arrival of the cast of the upcoming Amazon Prime web series Lukkhe. The ensemble, including singer, rapper and performer King, along with actors Lakshvir Singh Saran, Nakul Roshan Sahdev, Akarsh Khurana, Shivankit Parihar, Yograj Singh, Kritika Bharadwaj, Palak Tiwari, and Ayesha Raza, interacted with students, bringing a lively and celebratory close to the day.

The evening reached its peak with a live performance by King, whose popular tracks had students singing along and fully immersed in the moment, turning the farewell into a vibrant celebration. Interacting with the audience, he appreciated the energy and enthusiasm of LPU students and shared his desire to return to the campus for a dedicated performance in the future.

Addressing the graduating batch, Dr. Loviraj Gupta, Pro Vice-Chancellor at LPU, extended her message, stating, “As you step into the world, you carry not just degrees, but the values, vision, and vitality that define LPU.
