LPU Witnesses a Grand Confluence of Talent and Passion at Annual Intra-University Fest Magnitude 2025

Jalandhar; November 24, 2025: The vibrant energy of street style pulsated through Lovely Professional University as it hosted the annual open intra-university competition, Magnitude 2025. This year's theme “Street Style Base” transformed the campus into a dynamic open culture feast, celebrating urban creativity and raw talent. The event witnessed an overwhelming response with over 1000+ registrations in the initial qualification rounds, displaying the immense enthusiasm of the students.

The grand event witnessed the homecoming of acclaimed actress and LPU alumna Shehnaaz Gill, who inaugurated Magnitude 2025. She recalled how participating in events like YouthVibe during her student years opened the first doors to her career, when she got offered a role in a music video, marking her entry into the entertainment industry.

Students competed fiercely across a diverse range of nine categories, including Dance, Music, Fashion, Paridhan (Group Fashion Show), Brush Strokes, Mehandi, Kitchen King, E-Sports, and a Fitness Challenge. Each category was a spectacle of innovation and skill, from the digital battlegrounds of E-Sports to the aromatic creativity of Kitchen King and the stunning visual narratives of the Paridhan group fashion show.

Gracing the Grand Finale Col. Dr. Rashmi Mittal, Pro-Chancellor of LPU, stated, “LPU consciously organize such large-scale events each year to ensure that every talent, whether in arts, sciences, technology, or management, finds its moment in the sun. We believe that the confidence forged here, in these crucibles of creativity, is what will propel you to become the leaders and visionaries of tomorrow”.

In the crowning ceremony, Chandan Singh and Aishwarya were crowned as Mr. and Miss Magnitude 2025, while the Overall Champion title was clinched by Team Zenith. The stage was also set ablaze by other outstanding achievers, including Mr. Vogue Ayush, Ms. Vogue Nuha, Mr. Iconic Ashish Gowsami, Ms. Iconic Sanjana Malik, Mr. Charismatic Sahil, Ms. Charismatic Anusha, Mr. Showstopper Harsh Raj, and Ms. Showstopper Chetna.

Beyond competition, Magnitude serves as a week-long cultural and creative carnival, where students collaborate, innovate, and express themselves through art, design, performance, and culinary skills. The event not only nurtures artistic expression but also strengthens teamwork, leadership, and confidence among students. LPU organizes large-scale cultural and creative fests to encourage talent across all disciplines, providing its students with platforms to explore their passions, discover new skills, and shine on both national and global stages.
