LPU stands committed to internationalization of education for the overall benefit of promising national students

LPU signs MoUs with six Universities of America, Canada, Germany, Italy, Romania

Jalandhar: As per earlier commitments, and presently following the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020, LPU is keen to see internationalization of education at its campus. Upholding this aim, LPU has lately signed six MoUs with top Universities of America, Canada, Germany, Italy, and Romania. With such prestigious international collaborations, LPU is bringing maximum global opportunities for its promising and career oriented students by enriching the innovative way of knowledge dissemination.

A few days ago, India’s Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ had also shared in a virtual conference held at LPU campus that “internationalization is a very important element in the growth and development of a university, and its contribution to the country. I see LPU as one of the foremost universities which have embraced internationalization in letter and spirit. It has been doing so much work in the internationalization of education.”

MoUs are signed with University of Idaho (UI), USA; Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), Canada; South Dakota School of Mines & Technology (SDSMT), USA; IU University of Applied Sciences, Germany; University of Macerata (UNIMC), Italy; and, University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, Romania. These MoUs are to follow student and staff exchange programs; joint research activities and publications; continuing education and professional development; participation in seminars/conferences; and more.

LPU’s study abroad offering can range from going abroad for a short duration to getting a degree from a partner university. Its international division helps the aiming students to pick a study abroad program which fulfils their respective career aspirations.
