Jalandhar, January 12, 2026: The campus of Lovely Professional University witnessed a moment of collective pride as Placement Day was observed to acknowledge the exceptional career outcomes achieved by students from the Classes of 2025 and 2026. The occasion reflected not just individual success stories, but the steady evolution of an education model designed around industry relevance, applied learning, and global opportunity.
The placement cycle for both graduating cohorts delivered strong outcomes across engineering, technology, management, and professional programmes. As many as 2,236 students secured compensation packages of ₹10 lakh and above, indicating a sustained rise in high-value roles being offered to LPU graduates. Performance at the top end remained consistent across batches, with the top 10 percent of the Class of 2026 recording an average package of ₹12.20 LPA.
The placement season witnessed strong participation from global recruiters, with students receiving 6,000+ offers from Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, 1,000+ companies offered CTC packages above Rs 5 LPA, reflecting the scale and diversity of recruiter engagement. Among the leading recruiters, Accenture emerged as the largest recruiter with 805 offers, followed by Capgemini India Pvt. Ltd. with 578 offers, and Cognizant with 263 offers, reaffirming LPU’s strong partnerships with major multinational organizations. Furthermore, Accenture and Capgemini extended the highest number of offers to LPU compared to any other university in North India, marking a historic milestone in placement performance and establishing LPU as a regional benchmark for scale, consistency, and quality of recruitment.
The depth of employability was further reflected in the number of students securing multiple offers. In total, 948 students received more than one job offer, with several demonstrating exceptional demand across sectors. Sayini Sathvik Rao from Computer Science Engineering and Anushka from Tourism, both from the Class of 2026, secured five offers each, reflecting strong cross-domain readiness.
Internship-driven learning approach continued to translate into tangible outcomes. Three engineering students successfully converted their year-long internships at Microsoft into pre-placement offers. During the internship period, each student received a monthly stipend of ₹1.25 lakh and later secured final packages of ₹53 LPA, reinforcing the value of sustained industry immersion and advanced skill development embedded within the academic structure.
The previous placement session for the Class of 2025 also recorded landmark achievements, including three crore-plus offers. Sri Saravana Vishnu, a B.Tech (Robotics) student, secured the highest package of Rs 2.5 Crore, while Mohammad Furkan, also from B.Tech, received a Rs 1 Crore offer from Top MNC. In addition, Betireddy Naga Vamsi Reddy, a B.Tech (Robotics) student, secured an Rs 1.03 Crore package, placing LPU among the select institutions to record multiple crore-level placements.
Other distinguished achievements from the Class of 2025 include Shweta Ranjan, who secured Rs 58 LPA with Google, and three students placed at Microsoft with Rs 51 LPA packages. Krishnadev Yadav and Shubham Shukla also stood out by securing five job offers each, reflecting exceptional employability and strong industry demand.
Core engineering disciplines such as Robotics and Automation, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering continued to register strong placement traction. Recruiters included Trilogy Innovations, Juspay, Silicon Labs, Play Simple Games, Autodesk, Amazon, and Palo Alto Networks, along with several other leading product-based and technology-driven organizations.
Appreciating the placement outcomes, Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU, stated, “It is time to lead structural change in how higher education prepares talent for the future.
