LPU Opens Admissions for Allied Health Sciences; NEET Aspirants Can Explore Alternate Medical Careers
LPU Offering Up to 70% Scholarships on Globally Aligned Allied Health Programs Based on NEET Scores

Jalandhar: Lovely Professional University (LPU), recently ranked 2nd among Indian private universities in Medical and Health Sciences by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025, has opened admissions to its Allied Health Sciences programs for the academic session 2025–26.
These programs offer viable and in-demand career pathways for students who are passionate about the healthcare sector but may not have secured a seat in traditional MBBS programs. LPU’s offerings are also open to students who have appeared for NEET, with eligibility to avail scholarships of up to 70% based on NEET scores.
The School of Allied Medical Sciences at LPU offers a wide range of undergraduate programs, including B.Sc. in Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Technology, Optometry, Radiology & Imaging Technology, Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology, Dialysis Therapy, and Respiratory Therapy, among others. These programs are aligned with emerging global healthcare trends and focus on building practical, real-world clinical competencies.
What distinguishes LPU is its focus on integrated clinical training, simulation-based learning, and interdisciplinary exposure; ensuring students are job-ready from day one. The curriculum, co-developed with healthcare professionals and institutional partners, combines theoretical knowledge with immersive experiences, enabling learners to engage with diverse specializations through collaborative projects and clinical rotations.
As healthcare transitions towards personalized, technology-driven models, LPU’s state-of-the-art infrastructure—including imaging labs, simulation centers, and rehabilitation clinics—offers students an ideal environment to master advanced clinical skills under expert mentorship.
Dr. Monica Gulati, Senior Dean of LPU’s School of Allied Medical Sciences, emphasized, “Healthcare education must not merely follow trends; it must lead them. At LPU, we’ve redefined learning through our EduRevolution initiative, transforming education into a practice-intensive journey. Students are assessed through real clinical scenarios, projects, research and internships—rather than conventional assignments and examination methods. This outcome-driven model empowers them to think critically, act with compassion, and lead with confidence in today’s dynamic healthcare ecosystem.”
Applications are open through LPU’s official admissions portal. Students can also qualify for additional scholarships via the university’s LPUNEST or other recognized national-level entrance scores.
