Love triangle unfolds in Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi as Anvita grows closer to Virat, while Sanjay attempts to confess his love for Anvita

Sony SAB’s latest offering, Itti Si Khushi, is winning hearts with its heartfelt storytelling and relatable slice-of-life drama. The show traces the journey of Anvita (Sumbul Touqeer Khan), a young woman whose world revolves around protecting and nurturing her family. While others her age may chase personal dreams, Anvita’s only aspiration is to keep her loved ones safe and together. From managing household expenses to juggling small jobs and caring for her five younger siblings, she embodies resilience and selfless love. At the root of her struggles is her father, Suhas (Varun Badola), an emotionally absent alcoholic who can no longer shoulder responsibility. Yet, Anvita continues to juggle her family’s challenges, from guiding her younger siblings to coping with her father’s sudden disappearance. In the last few episodes, viewers witnessed Virat’s (Rajat Verma) dramatic entry and open affection for Anvita leaving her torn, especially as Sanjay’s (Rishi Saxena) quiet care grows harder to ignore.

In the upcoming episodes, Anvita’s emotions get even more tangled. Just as Sanjay finally gathers the courage to confess his feelings, Anvita finds herself drawn toward Virat, as he makes her see life in a new way. The love triangle intensifies when Virat’s hidden truth is revealed, putting him directly against Sanjay, who is a police officer. Stuck between two men on opposite sides, Anvita struggles to choose between the steady support Sanjay has always given her family and the hope of a new beginning that Virat brings. At the same time, her responsibility toward her siblings continues to remain at the forefront, leaving her caught at a turning point where every decision could change her life.
Will Anvita risk it all for Virat’s fiery love, or let Sanjay’s steady devotion tie her heart down?
Sumbul Touqeer Khan, who plays Anvita in Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi, said: “This track has so many layers; Anvita’s caught between responsibility and matters of the heart, which makes her journey very relatable for many. As an actor, it’s exciting because I get to explore the softness of first love and the weight of family duty in the same breath. And honestly, while the scenes are intense on screen, off screen we have a blast teasing each other about whether viewers will root for TeamSanjay or TeamVirat!”

Rajat Verma, who plays Virat in Sony SAB’s Itti Si Khushi, shared: “Virat is a character who wears his heart on his sleeve, he’s fearless in love, even if his choices create chaos. This track really brings out that intensity, because his world suddenly collides with Sanjay’s, and that clash makes the story all the more gripping. I enjoy the unpredictability of Virat, and off screen, it’s fun to joke around with Sumbul and Rishi about how our audience will react, whether they’ll be drawn to Virat’s passion or Sanjay’s steady care.”
