Jalandhar, May 2, 2026: The Alumni Association of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, proudly honored one of its distinguished alumni, Kuldeep Singh Purewal, a 1990 pass-out (M.A. Punjabi), for his remarkable achievements and contribution to Punjabi music on the international stage. 
An acclaimed Punjabi singer based in the United Kingdom, Purewal has carved a niche for himself globally, bringing pride to his alma mater through his artistic excellence and dedication to promoting Punjabi culture worldwide. 
On this special occasion, Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu, Principal, Lyallpur Khalsa College, along with Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Anand, Director, Alumni Association, felicitated the alumnus with an appreciation trophy as a mark of recognition for his outstanding accomplishments. Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries expressed immense pride in the achievements of Mr. Purewal and emphasized that Lyallpur Khalsa College always cherishes and celebrates its alumni who continue to shine in their respective fields and bring laurels to the institution.
