LKC achieves another significant milestone by attaining five new courses UGC

Jalandhar, July 24, 2019: Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar achieved another significant milestone by attaining five new courses from the University Grants Commission (UGC). These courses including B.Voc Software Development, B.Voc Printing Technology, Diploma in Computer Animation, Certificate course in Mushroom Cultivation and Certificate Course in Music Learning Skills have been approved by University Grants Commission. College Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra informed that the college has also been awarded a grant of rupees 2 Crore, 25 Lakh rupees for these courses and students are showing keen interest in terms of taking admissions in these aforementioned programs. Dr.GS Samra also reiterated the college’s commitment towards providing employment opportunities to its students and therefore, keeping up with the trends of technological sector courses such as B. Voc Software Development, B. Voc Printing Technology and Diploma in Computer Animation have been started. Certificate Course in Mushroom Cultivation has been started with similar prospects in the field of Biotechnology while the Certificate Course in Music Learning Skills is an important program for enhancing minute arts. These courses are now running successfully in the college and they are aimed at providing students with latest employment and professional opportunities as per the needs of the modern era.
