Livasa Hospital Amritsar launches weekly heart OPD at Ajnala

Amritsar: Livasa Hospital, Amritsar has announced the launch of a dedicated Heart OPD in association with Onkar Hospital, Ajnala thus reinforcing its commitment to making high-quality cardiac care accessible to communities beyond metropolitan areas. Designed as a community service initiative, the OPD aims to bridge the gap for patients who often travel long distances for specialised heart consultations. The service will be available every Friday from 11 am to 2 pm, offering expert evaluation and timely guidance for a wide range of heart-related conditions.

The OPD will be led by Dr. Anil Sharma (MBBS, MD, DM – Cardiology), Senior Consultant & Interventional Cardiologist, one of Punjab’s most respected cardiac specialists, known for his extensive experience in managing complex cardiac cases and delivering outcomes with precision and compassion.

Through this initiative, patients in Ajnala and adjoining regions will gain access to Livasa Hospital’s advanced cardiology ecosystem, including primary and complex angioplasty, TAVI, mitral valve replacement, pacemaker and leadless pacemaker therapies, peripheral angioplasty, and aortic aneurysm repair. This outreach not only strengthens cardiac awareness at the grassroots level but also ensures that expert care is available closer to home, leading to faster diagnosis, early intervention, and improved patient outcomes.
