Little ones of Innocent Hearts School visited Gurudwara Sahib

Jalandhar, November 27, 2023: Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Prakash Parv was celebrated with great pomp in INNOKIDS- the Pre-Primary School  of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Nurpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, and Kapurthala Road). 

On this occasion, the young ones were dressed up in traditional costumes.   They were enlightened about the life of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the messages given by him.  Children were taken to visit Gurudwara Sahib.  

The objective of which is to awaken religious values in children and develop spiritual values and moral values in them.  All the children entered the Gurudwara Sahib in a very disciplined manner, covered their heads with handkerchiefs and bowed their heads in front of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji.  The children chanted the basic mantra and 'Satnaam, Shri Waheguru' in their sweet voices and enjoyed  the Kirtan.  The children also contributed to Shabad-Kirtan.  Granthi Singh of Gurdwara Sahib explained to the children the meaning of 'Naam Japo, Vand Chhako, Kirat Karo'.  The children took the prasad with proper respect.  The teachers informed the children about the works, teachings and sacrifices made by the Sikh Gurus.
