Light & Sound Show on Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur's life draws massive crowd of devotees, leaves 15000 devotees spellbound

Ludhiana, November 14, 2025: In continuation of events organized by the Punjab Government to honour the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, an impressive Light and Sound show took place this evening at Mela Ground of PAU, drawing over 15,000 devotees.

The Light and Sound Show, a part of celebrations planned by the state government for commemorating the 350th martyrdom Centenary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The spectacle vividly depicted the journey and ideology of “Hind Di Chadar” Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji through light and sound show. The audience was disseminated the message of strengthening the ethos of communal harmony, peace, brotherhood, compassion and humanity as preached by Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji through the ultra-modern technique. The mesmerised audience bathed in Guru Sahib’s glory as the light and sound show beautifully projected his philosophy in the form of his universal message to our society. Through the show, the ethos of tolerance, peace, communal harmony were brought alive.
Cabinet Ministers Hardeep Singh Mundian and Sanjiv Arora encouraged everyone to seek motivation from Guru Sahib’s ideals, which remain a beacon for humankind even after 350 years. They highlighted that Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s ultimate offering was made not for one faith or community alone, but to uphold the basic freedoms and honor of all people. They further noted that the Punjab Government is rolling out multiple initiatives to propagate Guru Sahib’s message of honesty, selflessness, and freedom of belief across the globe.
They remarked that the Punjab Government is committed to disseminating Guru Sahib’s wisdom and sacrifice to every part of the country, motivating coming generations. They pointed out that incorporating modern digital elements in the Light and Sound show will particularly engage young people with Guru Sahib’s vision of harmony, acceptance, and global unity, while deepening their connection to Punjab’s vibrant cultural legacy.
On the occasion, MLAs Ashok Parashar Pappi, Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal, Madan Lal Bagga, Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina, Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur, Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Parashar, Senior Vice Chairman of Punjab Medium Industries Development Board Sharanpal Singh Makkar, District Planning Board Chairman Jatinder Singh Khangura, PAU Vice-Chancellor Dr SS Gosal, State Information Commissioner Harpreet Sandhu, Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain and several others were present.
