Light and Sound Show “Safar-e-Shahadat” on December 21 at DLC SUPVA on the Occasion of Veer Bal Diwas

Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta informed that, as per the directions of the State Government, a special Light and Sound stage presentation titled “Safar-e-Shahadat” will be organised on December 21 at 2:00 PM at the campus of Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), Rohtak, on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, to pay tribute to the incomparable sacrifice of the Sahibzadas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

Rohtak, December 19, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta informed that, as per the directions of the State Government, a special Light and Sound stage presentation titled “Safar-e-Shahadat” will be organised on December 21 at 2:00 PM at the campus of Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), Rohtak, on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, to pay tribute to the incomparable sacrifice of the Sahibzadas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

The Deputy Commissioner said that Safar-e-Shahadat will present an emotional and powerful journey through the glorious history of Sikh martyrdom. The presentation will begin with the supreme sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, move through the historic events of Chamkaur Di Garhi, and culminate with the martyrdom of Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Sahibzada Baba Fateh Singh Ji. These historic moments will be vividly depicted through impactful narration, LED visuals, sound and light effects, animation, and VFX.

DC Sachin Gupta further informed that the presentation is being directed by renowned theatre personality Talwinder Singh Bhullar, who has earlier successfully staged several acclaimed light and sound productions on Sikh history across the country. The approximately one-hour-long show will blend authentic historical narratives with modern stage technology, offering audiences a cinematic experience.

He added that the primary objective of the presentation is to especially inspire the youth with the timeless values of courage, faith, and sacrifice demonstrated by the Sahibzadas. The script of the presentation has been prepared strictly in accordance with authentic Sikh historical sources, ensuring dignity, reverence, and historical accuracy throughout the performance.
