League Stage Concludes Successfully

Ludhiana, February 23, 2026: CICU organised the 28th League Match of S.Angad Singh Memorial – 11th CICU Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament on 15th February 2026 between HRBL and Uniparts India Ltd. at Elite Academy Ground, Hambran Road, Haibowal, Ludhiana.
The 28th league match toss was won by Uniparts India Ltd., who elected to bat first. They posted a competitive total of 208 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. In reply, HRBL were bowled out for 85 runs in 14 overs. Uniparts India Ltd. won the match convincingly by 123 runs.  Rajat Shori, Captain of Uniparts India Ltd., delivered an outstanding performance by scoring 83 runs off 50 balls, including 12 fours and 4 sixes and was declared the Man of the Match.
Upkar Singh Ahuja, President - CICU, welcomed the teams and cricket lovers. He stated that cricket has become one of India’s most celebrated sports, and the Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings takes pride in hosting the 11th Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament. He added that playing cricket helps in developing social skills, intellectual abilities, creativity, and a disciplined approach among participants.
Honey Sethi, General Secretary CICU, expressed that Ludhiana has a vibrant cricket culture and tremendous enthusiasm among youngsters for the tournament. He remarked that watching live cricket at the ground is always an exciting experience. He thanked the team managers, players, sponsors, and the CICU Cricket Committee for their dedicated efforts in making the tournament a grand success.
Many senior CICU members and senior management representatives from various companies visited the ground to motivate the players. They appreciated the excellent ground preparation and arrangements made by the CICU Cricket Committee and congratulated the winning team, Uniparts India Ltd.
