Last Date for submission of Applications to Allot Sports Nurseries extended till February 22nd: DC Sachin Gupta
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta informed that the Sports Department, Haryana has extended the last date for submitting online applications for allotment of sports nurseries for the academic session 2026–27. The earlier deadline of February 15 has now been extended to February 22, 2026.

Rohtak, February 21, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta informed that the Sports Department, Haryana has extended the last date for submitting online applications for allotment of sports nurseries for the academic session 2026–27. The earlier deadline of February 15 has now been extended to February 22, 2026.
He said that government schools, Gram Panchayats, and private educational institutions interested in establishing sports nurseries can apply online up to February 22 through the official website of the Sports Department. These sports nurseries will be opened only for disciplines included in the Olympic, Asian, and Commonwealth Games, with the objective of nurturing sporting talent from the grassroots level.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to all eligible institutions to actively participate in this initiative and submit applications within the stipulated time frame, so that young sportspersons may receive structured training, proper guidance, and improved sporting infrastructure at the local level.
He emphasised that the initiative aims to strengthen the sports ecosystem in the district, encourage youth participation in sports, and create a strong pipeline of talent for state and national-level competitions.
