Last Date Extended for IAS (Prelims) Coaching Programme at Panjab University
The Centre for IAS & Other Competitive Examinations, Panjab University, Chandigarh, has extended the last date for submission of applications for its IAS (Preliminary) Coaching Programme to August 6, 2025.

Chandigarh, July 23, 2025: The Centre for IAS & Other Competitive Examinations, Panjab University, Chandigarh, has extended the last date for submission of applications for its IAS (Preliminary) Coaching Programme to August 6, 2025.
Honorary Director of the Centre Prof. Jyoti Rattan informed that the admission test would be conducted on August 18, 2025. Classes are scheduled to commence from September 1, 2025.
The admission test will follow the pattern of the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination and will consist of 100 objective-type questions. The test will be held at the Centre for IAS and Other Competitive Examinations, Panjab University.
A total of 70 seats are available in the programme, with 54 seats for General, 11 for SC, and 5 for ST category candidates. Applicants must be graduates in any discipline or in the final year of their graduation. The application fee is Rs 200 for General category candidates and Rs 100 for SC/ST candidates. The course fee is Rs 26,000 plus 18% GST for General category and Rs 13,000 plus 18% GST for SC/ST category.
