Land owners reached GLADA Office & gave their consent in the presence of Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian
As per the instructions received from the Punjab Government, different authorities under the Punjab Urban Development Authority, in their respective jurisdictions are going to establish new urban estates with the consent of the concerned land owners under the land pooling policy.

Ludhiana, July 17, 2025: As per the instructions received from the Punjab Government, different authorities under the Punjab Urban Development Authority, in their respective jurisdictions are going to establish new urban estates with the consent of the concerned land owners under the land pooling policy.
To review the status of this project in District Ludhiana, Nawanshahr, Moga and Ferozepur under the jurisdiction of GLADA, Hardeep Singh Mundian, Minister, Housing and Urban Development Department, visited the GLADA Office, Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana.
During this meeting, Chief Administrator, GLADA, Additional Chief Administrator, GLADA, Estate Officer, GLADA, concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Tehsildars, Kanungos, Patwari and LAC Staff were present. During the meeting, the Hon'ble Minister highlighted the special initiatives being taken by the Punjab government for the establishment of urban estates under the Land Pooling Policy. Minister Mundian also asked to approach the concerned land owners to encourage them to pool their land and become partners in development under the Land Pooling Policy instead of Compulsory Acquisition under the Land Acquisition Act.
During this, Chief Administrator, GLADA informed that in the light of the development being done under the Land Pooling Policy at Sahabzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali), a lot of positive response has being received from the general public/land owners regarding the benefits of this policy with the aim of establishing new urban estates. But still, a number of camps will be organized in the concerned areas to make the owners more aware about land pooling and to participate in the establishment of New Urban Estates under the said policy.
Meanwhile, Praveen Jain and Jagdish Lal Jain, who reached the office to give their consent form, thanked the Punjab Government and said that they are lucky to become partner in this project. He also told about the efforts being made by them to bring awareness about the land pooling policy among their nears & dears and gave a message to the concerned land owners to become partners in this mission of the government.
