Ludhiana, February 20, 2024: The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Gurdaspur held its Scientific Advisory Committee Meeting on February 19.

Dr MS Bhullar, Director of Extension Education, PAU, Ludhiana, chaired the meeting, with Dr BS Dhillon, Director, RRS Gurdaspur, and Dr Sham Singh, Deputy Director Animal Husbandry, Gurdaspur, also in attendance. 

Representatives from various line departments, scientists from research stations, FASC, KVK Gurdaspur, and progressive farmers and farm-women members of the Scientific Advisory Committee participated in the meeting. Dr Bhullar praised KVK's work for the benefit of the farmer community.

Dr SS Aulakh, Associate Director (Training), presented the action taken report from the previous year's meeting and the progress report of KVK activities.

Dr RS Chhina discussed the proposed action plan for 2024-25. The dignitaries and members engaged in discussions and provided valuable suggestions.

The dignitaries also visited farm demonstrations, including CRM technologies, at the KVK Farm.

Dr Dhillon proposed a vote of thanks to all the dignitaries and participants for their invaluable contributions to enriching KVK's action plan.

Dr Satwinderjit Kaur, Associate Professor (Soil Science), conducted the stage on this occasion.
