Kumar Sanu is afraid sleeping alone at night, reveals Udit Narayan on Superstar Singer

The upcoming episode of Sony Entertainment Television’s kids singing reality show, Superstar Singer will see the epic trio of the 90’s - Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan along with judge Alka Yagnik. It is after 30 years that the legendary singers who have given the 90’s listeners some memorable songs will be seen together on a platform like Superstar Singer.

The episode will for sure be worth a watch where one will feel major nostalgia as the young contestants will be seen singing their songs. Talking about the talent on the show, after the fabulous performance of 9-year-old Prity Bhattacharjee from West Bengal and 10-year-old Harshit Nath from Assam, Udit Narayan revealed that when he used to travel for concerts, Kumar Sanu always requests him to sleep besides him as he cannot sleep alone at night.

This was some kind of a revelation made by him on the sets which left everyone is awe. When asked to elaborate, Udit Narayan said, “Whenever we travel for shows or concerts and complete our tours around the world, every night Kumar Sanu requests me to sleep besides him as feels that he will encounter a ghost at night.” To this, Kumar Sanu without any qualms agreed. The trio relived their moments of Karan-Arjun days where they came together to sing the song, ‘Yeh Bandhan Toh’ from blockbuster movie Karan Arjun and after 30 years will be seen on the set of Superstar Singer for the first time singing that song live in front of the audience.

Furthermore, in a funny way, Udit Narayan revealed that he was behind Alka Yagnik since 1988 but after Kumar Sanu entered the industry in 1990, Udit felt he was replaced and hence he decided that he will take a revenge before he leaves this industry.
