Kultar Singh Sandhwan assures support to promote equestrian sport in Punjab

Jagraon (Ludhiana), February 26, 2024: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan on Monday said that Punjab government would provide fulsome support in promoting equestrian sport in the state. 

Presiding over Maharaja Ranjit Singh Horse Show-2024 held in Jagraon, the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker said  this was the first time that such an event had been held here in which horse breeders throughout the state participated. He said that due to the policies of the Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab government, such constructive activities are being held regularly in the state. The state government is committed to realise the dreams of our freedom fighters and make a 'Rangla Punjab'. He said that there was no dearth of talent in the state but the need of the hour was that the sportspersons need better infrastructure and facilities which is being ensured by the state government. 

Sandhwan said that a system to support and help equestrian sport grow here, will be ensured in the Punjab. He said that all facilities would be provided to further popularize the game. 

Later, the Speaker also felicitated the winners at the end of the show.
