Chandigarh, November 20, 2025: AAP Punjab Chief Spokesperson and MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal on Thursday issued a strong warning to all gangsters and anti-social elements attempting to disrupt peace in the state. Referring to the late-night police encounter in Amritsar in which notorious gangster Harjinder Singh alias “Harry” was neutralised, Dhaliwal said the message is clear: “Anyone who chooses violence, extortion, or gun culture in Punjab will face the same consequence.”
Dhaliwal praised the Amritsar district and city police teams for their prompt and decisive action. “Our police eliminated a dangerous gangster in a professional encounter. I wholeheartedly commend every officer involved,” he said.
Addressing gangsters directly through the media, Dhaliwal said: “If you think you can terrorise Punjabis, shoot your rivals, extort money, or spread fear, remember, you will pay the price just like Harry did last night. Punjab’s soil will not shelter those who take the law into their own hands.”
He assured citizens that the AAP government and Punjab Police are fully committed to protecting every resident. “Punjabis, do not fear. A few criminal elements are trying to disturb the environment, but we will not allow it. Gangsters have only two options: surrender or leave Punjab,” he warned.
Dhaliwal reiterated that lawlessness, extortion, and violence have no place in Punjab. “Anyone who tries to destabilise peace will be crushed or put behind bars. Punjab’s safety and harmony are our unwavering commitment,” he said.
He again congratulated Amritsar Police for their courage. “Let this be a message, those who walk the path of crime will meet the same fate as Harry,” Dhaliwal concluded.
